U3A BRIC Tour
To do research that is rigorous, ethical, and informed by public and patient experience, it is vital that the Brain Research & Imaging Centre (BRIC) and DDRC Healthcare maintain active links with the communities we work with.
To do this, we run events such as group visits and tours, talks by researchers, and work experience for students.
BRIC has hosted many work-experience students from local schools over the years. Here, Nicholas from Devonport High School for Boys is shown visiting our MRI control room.

In December 2023, members of the 91porn University of the Third Age (U3A) toured the BRIC and DDRC Healthcare, viewing our laboratories and specialist equipment, and meeting some of the researchers. The group also visited the hyperbaric chambers and MRI scanner used for clinical purposes and research.
